  1. I started a World Tour using TBM 900 and flying only using VR . It been an amazing learning experience. I started in Alaska and plan to visit every continent (minus Antarctica). Usually doing 1 ~ 2 flights a week. The flights are tracked ProjectFly https://app.projectfly.co.uk/app/#/profile/simssmith I created a Pinterest board with the pictures https://www.pinterest.com/simssmith1/flight-sim-world-tour/north-america/ For me the key to success is simplicity. I pack very light. What that means is starting a trip to be quick and hassle free possible. Here are my tools 1) Default X-Plane and no custom airport 2) No ortho4xp, No HD Mesh, or no custom scenery / airport 3) Live Traffic plugin basically zero configuration to fill the skies. 4) Pilot2ATC for full world coverage and flight planing 5) ProjectFly to keep track of my tour It is amazing how good some of these default airports are.

  2. I was just wondering to see after a year without an update, that there is one going to be coming along? Am not stating that the development is dead, am just asking for a bit of information on when we can expect a next update (maybe Q1, Q2 this year?)... Thanks!

  3. I mean basics from a viewpoint of a sim-pilot. If it is that difficult to implement, why not informing us that you just cannot do it or whatever the exact reason is. Because after years it's not just about patience, it seems that there is something wrong somewehere, but for us customers it's not clear where the problem exactly is. So i would really appreciate a clear statment / communication about further development. Or perhaps i missed it, since i don't visit that forum very often? I really said nothing during years but now it begins to be just too long and i'm questionning if we will see a completed aircraft one day. I'm sure you can understand that.

  4. It's an interesting and unique dynamic. The Laminar guys are always trying to make X-Plane better, in whatever way they can, and they do encourage 3rd party devs to get in touch with them. Sometimes they listen and implement fixes, but sometimes they either don't because they don't consider something a priority or they can't because it'll be taking a step or more backwards. I'm certainly not against them moving forward, even if it means we have to fix things in our add ons (The Saab's engines are another example. Temp spikes. Sensitive Power Levers, etc...), but the flip side to that is a more accurate PT6 engine simulation within the sim. But I do think we should be able to move back to a previous, non-beta version. The reason we can't, at least in my opinion...server space and bandwidth for an obsolete version. But that's just my opinion.

  9. Guys when xplane 11.1 arrived you’ve patched the plane fairly soon and I thank you for this, but it seems like developement for this plane is stopped and only compatibility patches are going on atm... still some of the major features are missing

  10. Thanks for that ill give it a go , Your the only one to who seems to know what there talking about. I am sure its a great product if i could only fly it long enough before it crashes the sim.
