OFFICIAL SUPPORT: Official Bug tracker: https://bitbucket.org/iliastselios/p180_avanti/issues?status=new&status=open Support Forums: DESCRIPTION: As you might already know this aircraft is based on X-Plane's default P.180 Avanti , originally designed for X-Plane 8, was included in X-Plane 9, and from that point has been overhauled to Avanti II version. This is aircraft is totally FREE! It is a "return" to the X-Plane community that supported us those last 4 years that we exist as a development team! This aircraft main features are: High quality visuals, cockpit all new 3D model and textures, including PBR materials. Simulated: a. startup and shutdown procedures b. engine controls and operations c. autopilot controls and operations d. partially operation of the electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel systems. Emulation of Proline 21 avionics suite. Currently there is only one layout that will allow you to operate the aircraft in all scenarios. Many improvements will come in the future. Installation in the 3D cockpit of the default X-Plane 11 FMC. Improved flight characteristics. Internal custom lighting. Of course Avanti development is not stopping here! Actually the overall development will be continuous, and the aircraft will always be in beta stage. Updates and upgrades will be available frequently! Main planned future upgrades are: Adding more functionallity to Proline 21 avionics suite, heading from an emulation to a simulation. Custom NAV maps. Custom FMC. Fully simulation of all systems. New 3D model from ground up. Improved flight model. Avanti EVO. Special thanks to: Austin Meyer for giving his permission to use parts of the Avanti on this project and X-Plane by Laminar Research that gave us this magnificent simulator! The team that originally developed Avanti for X-Plane, Robert Pearson (aerodynamics), Massimo Durando (cockpit & 3D cockpit), and Javier rollon (External Model. JRollonPlanes www.jrollon.com) for his fantastic 3D work. @Hueyman for the propeller 3D model and the prop disc images. Ben Russell of Gizmo64 for his support and that made available to us that powerful tool (aka Gizmo), and Cameron Son of X-Aviation for the support. And of course X-Plane community for the interest in that project and patient to wait to be realized!

  2. Yes, thank you! All is working terrific. Even in VR. That FSGRW sure is an excellent addon for SMP.

  3. It would be really helpful if you could provide any crash log your Mac may have written after this, as well as your metar.rwx file. I am seeing a few reports of crashes from Mac users, but we can't reproduce them here, so we're not really sure what's going on yet. It looks like running out of memory, but you should have plenty.

  4. Yeah, actually we just heard from them. They've identified the issue and we're working with them on a solution.

  9. I am with Z4BM here. The first three times I could start and takeoff easely. In a new X-plane-session I noticed the crash bar being in the up-position right after loading. Since that time, no matter what I do, I cannot start the engines anymore. So, I started the tutorial 'how to start-up', skipped the intro, paused the tutorial, closed X-plane completely...restarted X-plane, noticed that every notch and lever was down, except the ignition switch, which was in 'auto'. Then I followed the procedures, (even while playing the tutorial), but after setting AUX BP to ON, waiting a few seconds while watching CAS-msg., I hold the start switch for two seconds, I hear a short starting, but then it dies, nothing happens..I see "Starter and Ignition" blinking on the CAS though. According to maintenance, everything is still brand new. Well, let me try for the 9th time , this time I will delete state- and log-files as suggested above. edit: Yes, up and running (deleting those files did the trick)...by the way: I have "NO WIND DATA" while its 11006KT > bug? or did I miss something else? edit 2nd: Wind data popped up in PFD while in the air. All set now, tanks

  10. Thanks for the replies. I've also read on the forum that deleting the X-Plane\output\TBM900\state and the Flightlog file, would reset the plane to a virgin installation state. Is that correct? I really love this plane, but I'm not an seasoned expert simmer. I have, almost, given up on this plane due to frustration. But I am willing to persevere and would want to slowly learn to operate the TBM900 fully. During this learning process, I crash, make mistakes, mess up the plane states and settings. Would be very helpful for keen learners like me to be able to have a fresh restart for the plane. Thanks again for the help.
