  3. Just on my first flight with TerraMaxx, flying in deep winter along the Canadian Rockies. This really adds a lot to the immersion, love it so far! Now I'm looking forward to learning how to make my custom airport sceneries compatible...

  4. Did my first flight with seasons today, from heavy winter in Cologne, moderate winter after crossing the Alps to summer textures at Split, Croatia. Yes, the loading times, but I gladly trade them in for having the seasons. Good job! Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk

  5. I've reached out to Andrey at XEnviro today, and he has been very receptive and is currently trying to work through the problem by debugging and logging all steps up to and including the CTD, with the help of a few XEnviro and Saab owners. So far no luck, but it looks like he might be getting closer to narrowing it down to what the cause is. We're going to keep trying until we find it...whether it's in the Saab or XEnviro.

  7. I don't want to cause a ruckus, but it looks like V1.5 is now available. I'm installing as I speak.

  8. At the moment, no. Laminar has a very specific way on how they allow scenery loaded in, and right now we're at the best solution for what they can offer us (we've worked with them over the last year and a half or so just to make it to this point). It's a fair thing to say that it's not great for online networks in Auto mode though. The only real option there is to stick to one season (which is not so realistic on a transcon). One thing at a time. We'll keep working away at Laminar as time progresses. They tend to work with us a lot so long as it's something manageable on their end too.

  9. Long pause on loading is a killer for me too. I'll be shutting it off until some updates are available.

  10. There were some changes added to X-Plane with regard to steering, which had not been adjusted for. This has been fixed for the next update and should resolve the steering issues.

  11. Chiming in on the same issue - CTD when xEnviro downloads METAR. Some observations from my side: The crash happend for me after ~1hour of flight on ground, after having followed the parking checklist, after depressurizing the cabin and the moment I pushed open the front door (it was unlocked before). On preflight I had the front door opened already without any issue. I use xEnviro alongside with the IXEG B733 (latest version), so far no CTD experienced - either I was lucky, or the CTD is not directly resulting from a Gizmo vs. xEnviro conflict, but instead is only triggered when Gizmo is used in a specific way (only speculating here, not knowing the differences in how both developers use Gizmo). crash_logs_and_dump.zip

  12. Well, since i have this Birth, also in XP 10, the Rudder and the Elevator moves from the first secound, the Plane is loaded in the Simulator. So, sitting in the Cockpit after the Flight was loaded, its Cold & Dark. Then i change the View, for exc. Towerview or any else, the Rudder and the Elevator moves up an down. It seems like the moves in the wind. But they moves wild and uncontrolled. I use Saitek Yoke, CH-Pedals and CH-Throttles. Normaly, it stops, while Takeoff, but today, it was after a normal Flight during the Approach, after i select VS in the Autopilot it starts moving and shaking like this... inflight... 13. Well I must say I am totally smitten with TerraMaxx. Have been flying the three new seasons up in Alaska. I love the overlays, and the detail using the normal maps option is stunning. Also love the way the light changes with the seasons. I think the subtle hues are just gorgeous. Brilliant addition. Thank you. Game changer ! Peter

  14. Oh another side note, the recently released UM v3 has a library.txt you can use as a guide for scenery creation....

  15. Yes that was the intention, during development I would categorize these scenarios in real life to use them for future reference. One key thing that looks odd are all the trees still maintain the foliage. I tried working bare trees and they did not look as plausible. The slightly green trees were a observation leaving KPHL on my way down to San Juan during the winter., so I went with it ;).....

  16. Typically when you have light snow with cold temps the snow will not stick to trees, unlike with a heavy downpour of it. I did not make that decision, but I would assume that was John's logic. Having personally taken a ski trip this past season green trees were pretty abundant on the nice days.
