  2. Happy New Year...with an announcement! In collaboration with LatinVFR, we are converting San Diego International Airport for X-Plane! The project is already in an advanced stage. About the project: Will be converted for X-Plane 10.50+, to our team's standards of quality. That mean, parts that are not looking good in X-Plane, will be replaced with ours. It works fine in X-Plane 11, but after X-Plane 11.00 goes final, we will update all airports (including KSAN) to new standards. Updates will be free. A small preview for now, more to come! Enjoy!

  3. Hi everyone, we would like to give all of our loyal customers a short update on the work going on behind the scenes. As you are all aware, we are working on patch 1.1. It will include a number of additions and fixes to our 737, some of which we hinted at in our sneak peak thread: http://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/topic/11745-spot-whats-new-v11-spoiler-alert/ We are not quite ready yet to release the full list of features and fixes, especially since we want to make sure that we can actually include the items in question and also run a more thorough test on this patch than we had the time for on the last "hotfix" type patches. For the same reason we won´t commit to an ETA at this point. As we draw closer to release, I will update this post with more info on 1.1. We know it has been a very long time without updates and we thank you for your continuing support in spite of this! Happy landings, Jan

  4. hi, couldn't find it being reported yet ;-) With the left course selector (CPT side) you dial 359-360-001 With right course selector (CP side) you dial 359-000-001 Easy fix i guess ;-) Regards Oliver XP10, 737 v1.07, Windows 10

  5. Hello all! I'm setting up this poll to find out if a lot of you would like an area (not in the forum) where all us ixeg pilots can come together and organise dual cockpit flights and fly ins. I have several ideas of how to do this and if there is a demand for it I will set it up. The general premise of the idea is that if someone let's call him bob, wants to fly with a Co pilot to xxxx place he can announce it in this area and another person let's say Charlie, wants to join in as a Co pilot. So Charlie replies to bobs announcement and they proceed to enter a voice chat room (limited to them two only ) and can get it all set up and fly together. Same idea behind the fly in. Please show your interest in the poll, feel free to ask and send feedback

  6. Why? There is no explanation about our problem. There were no answers to my tickets. And now they have just deleted my post here. Why?

  8. I had a lot of issues with my hard drives and had to reformat my PC a number of times. That's why I do not have more license slots available. However, I have been sending Request Reset tickets a number of times and no one answered me. Can someone help me, I just want to fly and have fun with my simulator, and I can't because I am not able to use my products. Thanks

  11. My brain getting picked? I don't think it's even possible to make an aircraft that's cross compatible without some major changes. There's always changes that have to be made in the code. It happened with the Saab. When we started making it, it was intended to be for XP9 and 10. Then 10 came, and we saw a few major changes happened. The weather radar being one of them. So we dumped XP9 development and went strictly for 10 only. It would have been way too much work with a very low ROI. XP9 was pretty much dead by the time we finished the Saab. So it wouldn't make sense to make it for both platforms. If it's an aircraft with no plug ins, you can simply move the aircraft over from 1 platform to the next with no issues. If there are issues, opening the aircraft in the new version Planemaker, then saving it, usually fixes them. Some datarefs may be made inactive (which actually happened for the Saab in XP11), but it's not always a major problem. There's a new PT6 engine model in XP11, and that's thrown a bit of a spanner in the works for the Saab, so that's the thing we're working on now. The other big change now is PBR in XP11. Then to get the code right for the new version of X Plane...that could take a few weeks or a few months. It's kind of a shame that this happens, because it puts everything else on hold, but it's just part of the process and we have to get it done.

  12. Other variants of the aircraft are on the list. The problem is that a -400 and -500 has different aerodynamics than the -300, so we need to have separate (planemaker) aircraft for those. This is why we want to "finish" the -300 as much as possible before we make other variants or it will be an update and support nightmare for both you and us. As for a cargo version, that is more likely short term since it is basically only a 3D update. No decisions on the timetable for that has been set. But, the most likely (subject to change) progress is v.1.1 for XP10 v 1.1 for XP11 Cargo version 500/400 V 1.1 for XP10 is currently in closed beta. XP11 - as we predicted - is still a moving target. Like Austin implementing new flight model stuff still in the middle of the beta (jet engine, ground model etc), plenty of XP bugs and we expect it to be like this for a few more months.

  13. Would there be a possibility in having a freighter model? I did a paint on a TNT freighter 733 but because of the windows being modeled it doesn't look correct. I tried to remove the transparent texture but then all the windows get the same color even if the fuselage paint is different in the front and the back. It would be nice to have just the pax windows removable. A working freight door would be nice but just eye candy. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPad met Tapatalk

  15. A340-300 and A319 is currently under development of JARDesign - so dont expect any good Airbus (in terms of MCDU and Systemdepth) ... maybe a bit eyecandy will be established like the A330 has in the A319 and A340 --- but I would even be happy if the Aerosoft Airbus family would be converted into XP11, they look pretty good even if they aren't a study level product.

  19. Cameron, I am an AVID X-Aviation customer and always will be but I have to disagree with this post. As an avid pilot myself, I have to agree that HD 2.0 clouds/ X-Plane clouds are more realistic to real weather clouds than Skymaxx Pro clouds. Skymaxx cloud are beautiful no doubt but they seem to not move as much with real life winds and with the speed of the plane. Clouds at different levels and which way clouds are going vs. the speed of the plane are a big factor. Another realistic situation that X-Pane clouds have vs Skymaxx is how far the plane is from the clouds. As you get closer to the clouds they should move faster which Skymaxx does not seem change speed much or even at all. Skymaxx clouds stay pretty much constant with every level the plane is. With X-Plane clouds I see a huge difference. I have uploaded videos to show what I am taking about. I uploaded them in the next post.

Hey everyone, I found the stock checklist to be a little basic, so I made this expanded checklist in a style that I believe fits the aircraft. Checklist is based on real airline checklist for the 737-300. Big thanks to P3ROn for the help. (Please note that the preview image compression makes the checklist harder to read than it is in sim.) Installation instructions: 1. Go to your X-Plane 10\Aircraft\X-Aviation\IXEG 737 Classic folder 2. Make a backup of the current IXEG_checklist.png file (e.g. by renaming it to "IXEG_checklist.png.old") 3. Copy this downloaded IXEG_checklist.png to the IXEG 737 Classic folder 4. Enjoy. Please note that this checklist is not an official IXEG checklist. If you have any comments or gripes, they belong here or to me via PM. I can also be contacted at doctornerdrage@gmail.com. Safe flying!
