  1. Come on board! There will be more X-Plane 11 features presented by Laminar Research ( and probably, an official title for the next gen X-Plane), discounts and a lot of hands-on!

  2. Hi all, I have been looking at the IXEG 737 and it says no requirements in the description for purchase. Could someone tell me the system requirements for this plane and or tell me if it is a heavy plane or if it runs pretty well. And also I run SkyMaxx pro v3 and I get about 23-30 FPS with flight factor 777. Thanks -Fizzy

  3. Joan said in another forum that what he did for Laminar was porting his download code to C++; all the rest is Austin's, AFAIK. José

  4. maybe you are one of a lot of people experienced poor performance from nowhere during the past days, now being known to be caused by a recent windows 10 update? If so, uninstall it and you should be fine. Check here, there are already several other posts all around the same. http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/107128-answered-performance-issues-maybe-due-to-1050-rc3-no-windows-update/

  5. Yes, I've been following this too. There are people reporting sudden framerate drops from 30+ to single digits who aren't even using SkyMaxx Pro at all, so I'm starting to wonder if SMP's being falsely accused in many cases. Still, if you're not using FSGRW, updating to SkyMaxx Pro 3.3.1 is still a good idea. It fixes any situations I can find within SMP that might cause performance to suddenly tank for no apparent reason. I automatically accept all Windows 10 updates and am not seeing this myself though, so whatever's really going on would seem to be complicated.

  6. Joan created the code for the new X-Plane 10.5 features. It would be rather redundant and pointless to also have NOAA installed.

  7. Do you happen to have the Tug Master plugin installed? If so, you should move it's folder out of the plugins directory temporarily to check if it causes the issue. There also seems to be an updated version of the plugin available which might also get rid of the issue.

  9. Hello all, 10.50 was officially released, as the rc3 was declared final who have installed it in the past shouldn't receive the message about the new version.

  11. SkyMaxx Pro + RWC with the latest updates ... is still the best cloud and weather presentation addon for X-Plane and worth every brass penny! Thanks guys, for such a quality addon that gives me awesome skies and increased fps. I see lots of attempts to enhance X-Plane skies but none of them come close to the degree of technical professionalism, precision and artistry of SkyMaxx pro (and I do try those others on a separate X-Plane install just to see what's out there). Simply amazing. With the influx of people taking up X-Plane these days, I tell everyone I can; if you want awesome skies in X-Plane then it's SkyMaxx Pro ... period. Nothing else compares.

Here's a basic X-Camera config file for the IXEG 737 Classic. It has: - 15 Cockpit views - 4 Wing views - 15 External views - 2 Orbits - 1 Flyby - a "walk around" type category that takes you around various areas of the aircraft TrackIR or HeadShake users will have to enable these in the X-Camera settings. No View IDs have been assigned, do this to your liking/need. If you are unsure about what this or X-Camera does, please refer to the X-Camera website. It is an essentially free camera control plugin that provides advanced camera options. It lets you set up a huge number of different views with smooth transitions and other snazzy features, like an orbit or flyby camera. Installation instructions: 1. Make sure you have a recent/current version of X-Camera installed (such as 2.1.1 as of April 2016) 2. Go to your X-Plane 10\Aircraft\X-Aviation\IXEG 737 Classic folder 3. Copy this downloaded X-Camera_B733.csv to the IXEG 737 Classic folder 4. Enjoy (or adjust to your liking in the X-Camera settings) If you have any comments or gripes, they belong here or to me via PM. I can also be contacted at doctornerdrage@gmail.com. Safe flying!
