ha. I'm a veteran gamer, bought and still have most of the first 'Edge' gaming magazines, I'm used to waiting huge amounts of time for good quality products. yes the wait and constant delays can be frustrating (Gran Turismo anyone?, the wait for Metal Gear Solid or ANY Final Fantasy..) but the final result oh so sweet. With this one the quality is even more important, as (let's not beat around the bush here) it should drag quite a few new xplane adopters over, so the last thing we want is them whingeing about buggy or clunky products.
don't you dare say you shouldn't have released those videos so early! we love your vids and music

You are right Japo, do not release something without finishing the logic and the behaviour of a plane. In the moment you find several jet payware with 3D pit and quite nice fuselage - but the logic and the performance is far away from the real thing - I got real angry answers if I startet this topic on the specific sites - from my pov this is no simulation this is gaming or as you said "furniture with wings" So please take your time to bring your plane to a new dimension of xplane payware. Cheers Tom

Hello Japo, I've been watching your films on YouTube and they are great. I subscribed so I can know when you put up a new one. This CRJ-200 is the X-Plane sim that I have really been waiting for more than anything. You are doing a fantastic job with it from what I can see. A big part of my fascination is the great amount of artistic talent and technical skill that the developer of a sim like this must have. I have never seen this level of detail in a desktop sim. I certainly hope Laminar Research appreciates what you are about to do for X-Plane They need to at least send you on a 7day paid trip to the Bahamas or something. Thanks ahead for all of your work. Bob

I just hope it comes out soon before school really gets going, but like you said, after coming this far, you can't just slop the last mile.... or two......... or three..............together. We are all patiently waiting and are very excited to see your work pay off. Keep up the work Jav, Anton, and anybody else who is making this project possible!!!

Yeah, that 787 is a bit of a letdown. I can't believe it was 30 bucks. could have bought something way better, but the new F16 is better.

I was just wondering; how do you make the flight models so realistic compared to freeware considering that they both run on the same simulator and are calculated by blade element technology.

If you guys ever wonder why the X-Pilot community is tiny, and will remain so, remember posts like this.

But to be honest, the products sold by the org, is mostly just a waste of money.
The 742F Package which i bought, is...well, you really have to have low expectations to not get completely disappointed.
Maybe its worth the 10 euro, but i have expected better stuff. Nonexisting 3D pit, pretty bad 2D pit, the exterior is really boring textured, and the landinggear behaviour ist very strange. You bounce like a kangaroo, no matter if your are light, or heavy.
There may be some good things there, the BK117 for expample, but i have so much bad stuff seen from them, that im just not expecting anything good from them any more. Just take a look at their "best XXX" stuff. Most of this shouldn't even be mentioned once in a lifetime. It's just total crap.
And if you have at least some sort of expectation towards quality, then things like this 787 are just not worth the money, they want from you.

If you want to know why the X-Plane community is suffering, and will remain so, remember products like those that Nicolas is pushing as cutting edge, attempting to stand them up against that available for the FS series. It is a joke, and will remain so until people start to rock the boat. I will rock the boat as hard as I can. My work has it's flaws, I acknowledge them fully. I live in a glass house, I choose my stones with care and attention.

If anyone is interested in a Half-Baked leaky piece of scripting-plugin shit that does best in class product activation and then gets the hell out of your face, you can download it at several places FREE of charge.
It's called Gizmo. I wrote it.
I hear egg's good for the complexion.
....on the up side.
If anyones interested in a re-baked leak tested scripting plugin that does best in class product activation as well as a world full of other fun things we've all wanted for years, you will be able to download it at several places soon FREE of charge.
That will be the extent of my bullshit marketing hype too.
Life's more fun with gloves off.
Be a gentleman, be respectable, but call things for what they are. The 787 is marketing crap. Nothing more.

Having recently watched the video showcasing some of the new planes coming in XP10, I think it's fair to say that nearly none of Nicolas crapware measures up to XP10 default planes. He and his developers will have to seriously step it up big time if they are going to have a future in this game.

+1. I've largely kept my mouth shut because to date I haven't got a product on the market, but when we do, it'll sure as h### be deserving of a Boeing license seal .

Well.. first I want to say that the person that develope something for x-plane or anything has my respect at all!. Second.. I must say Nills he is a great artist and he is doing really great work for x-plane plane... and he is part of the org comunity and will make really great work for future x-plane 10 (I know that). Second... I don't want to fight against x-plane.org. I have my opinion about Nicolas but X-plane.org it is not nicolas only. It is a huge comunity and they have my respect (always if the people respect everyone). I think Nicolas is doing badly and don't like his politics on the .org.. but people has to right to be whereever they want. Still the CRJ200 is nothing.. so right now is a shit!! because it is nothing. Not ended. We have to end it first.. then see if what we "did" is good for most people and you all like it. After that, we will have somethign there. For now is a promise that some people are saying it is going to be the best plane ever on x-plane. Well.. first I must say that the 777 seems to be amazing and maybe it will be better than our CRJ. But I don't consider this a war or a competence. Anton and me are making the CRJ with LOVE and we enjoy that!! Of course I don't want to spend an eternity to finish it but also we don't want to release something uncomplete. So... Hurra!! for all the developers of the .org because I know how hard it is to finish something that works.
