I understand that you use SkyMaxx Pro (as seen and mentioned in a previous video) What's your thoughts on SkyMaxx Pro v3? How does the 733 run with it, and in comparison with the default X-Plane Weather? Or do you recommend any other weather programs? mgeiss Posted December 16, 2015 Report Share Posted December 16, 2015 Skymaxx is not a weather program, it "just" changes the visuals (clouds, sky textures etc.). It uses whichever source provides X-Planes weather, which can be the built-in weather (real time or set) or an external weather engine/plugin like FS Global Real Weather, NOAA plugin, EFASS etc. The 733 will not behave any different if SM is installed or not. It can of course have an impact on fps/performance (to the better or to the worse, depending on settings), but this will be the same, no matter which plane you use.
