In trying to get the recommended scenery, I went to the link as in the tutorial, found the right page, found the right things to click in accordance with the manual, and it brings up a "Not Found."How can I get these sceneries to continue the tutorial?Thanks much. jackaphonic Posted June 21, 2012 Report Share Posted June 21, 2012 Thanks for the link. It worked.I had to control-click on the file in the listing, and choose download file from the pop-up menu. Just double-clicking the file in the listing displayed the text contents of the file on the screen.Also, never had seen a file with .7z suffix before. So, downloaded a Mac OS X program to decompress it, called EZ7z, and there was the folder 00_Valencia. Thus, if one strays from the runway, one plummets down to the "lower level" and crashes. Japo32 Posted April 18, 2013 Report Share Posted April 18, 2013 (edited) In the list that appears here: http://www.x-plane.es/xp_resources/indexlist/index search for the file you want... in this case LEVC_AKESOFT_febrero-2011.7z and open it with a program that unzip 7z files. (I think unrar can do it if you are in windows systems) I just tested if the file is online.. and it is working the download perfectly well. Tengo un Mac y cuando voy al link para descargarlo hay algunos que estan en color amarillo, y uno de ellos es precisamente el de Valencia y la siguiente página que aparece cuando hago click en el link esta encriptada, o sea que no responde a la descarga en absoluto. cessna729 Posted April 19, 2013 Report Share Posted April 19, 2013 (edited) I have got a Mac computer and every time I go to that link some of the airports come up on yellow colour and Valencia airport is one of them which I think it means that it does not work properly.Works ok for me a few minutes ago Using Windows 7 (64-bit), and Firefox 20.0.1, it downloaded a 105MB .7z Zip achive file: When I do click on Valencia airport it comes out with a page which it seems encrypt or something like that to me!!No it's not encrypted and dosn't need a password, You just need something that can handel .7z files, I used WinRAR on my machine, juts try a Mac equivalent like this or similar. If you want something FREE, try here as maletin suggested, (just scroll down for the Mac versions) cessna729.
