Falco Compatibility Update Released!

Recommended Posts

Hello, all,

This will serve as a formal forum announcement that we have released a plug-in compatibility update for the Sequoia Falco. All customers who have purchased the Falco up till now have been sent an e-mail by X-Aviation with complete installation instructions on how to update your product. We have made this a very simple process! For those that purchase the Falco from today forward, your purchased download will already be updated for you.

What if I didn't get the update e-mail?

If you did not receive your update e-mail don't fret! X-Aviation has updated our system to allow all customers to update with ease, regardless of whether you received an e-mail for the update! Here's what to do:

1. Login to your X-Aviation account here: https://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/login.php

2. View your past order history invoice that contains the Falco purchase on it.

3. At the bottom of the invoice you will find a blue highlighted link to your update!

The new installer does not require you to have any Falco installed, and you also do not have to uninstall any Falco. Simply run the installer and follow the on screen prompts when you run the update!

-------------------------------------------------

This update is ESSENTIAL if you plan on utilizing the Falco or using any other X-Aviation aircraft now and in the future. Failure to update will cause problems with this product!

*Important*

Please be sure to delete your old Falco folder either before or after installing this new Falco. Your older Falco will no longer work properly after this update.

The following is a list of what has been changed or added in this release of the Sequoia Falco, and is included in this update:

CHANGES:

-Compatibility update for all products provided from X-Aviation.

As always, thanks for being a customer with X-Aviation. We appreciate your feedback and support!

Enjoy these latest updates, and stay tuned to the forum as we continually announce the latest happenings.

Hi Cameron, just a suggestion. You may want to add an auto-field to the Emails indicating the original order no. - that'll make it easier to find the update. thx

Hi, Markus,

At this time it is not possible, as we separate our mail system on a more advanced and robust server for reasons of not flagging the e-mails as spam. Perhaps in the future we can do so, but not without some extensive updates.

They are for Gizmo developers and not customers in general, Larry. In short, you don't have to worry about those menus. :)

Updating XP seems to have fixed the issue with the Sequoia, but logo is still on the Corvalis

Not sure what you mean. You appear to be running an outdated Gizmo or untrusted version.

Did you run the INSTALLER that comes with the update and not just drag files over?

Please contact X-Aviation if you ran the installer and this is still hapenning: http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/contact_us.php

yes I ran the installer. now sometimes some textures don't load so it's just the 3D cockpit floating. I'll run some more tests with both a/c and email support.
