Saab 340 ITT behavior

I just bought the Saab 340, It is amazing but, Is it normal that ITT indication reaction when the engine's startup? In a real scenario, the engine would melt to the ground.

The temperature just goes crazy and go up way above the limit and stay there until the engine stabilize. Am I the only one having that issue or is the way the plane was designed?

The feeling of burning the engines out every time I start them up is frustrating.

There have been several changes to the engine modeling in X-Plane.  Our original custom engine model is not playing nice with these changes and that is why the temperatures are not correct.  We are working on an update (v1.5.2) to resolve this.
