cromsan Posted April 8, 2019 Report Share Posted April 8, 2019 After the fuel waste message , I do what RobW05 says: "- Accelerator in cutting position. - The ignition switch is off - Ignition AUX BP - Press and hold the start switch for 2 seconds, then release - Wait 10 seconds - Hold the start switch momentarily in the abort position, then release Now all the residual fuel should have been cleaned and you can try another regular start-up procedure. " But I still get the message of fuel residue . I'm going to maintenance and repair it in the engine. It keeps coming out. I have no other solution than to start with a new TBM900. Tassierob Posted April 8, 2019 Report Share Posted April 8, 2019 I have had a couple of times I have had to dry motor twice. A longer time definitely helps and as you can dry motor for up to 30seconds, particularly in hot weather where it is recommended in the pilot manual, it is worth a try.
