<RESOLVED> CTD during flight caused by OpenGPWS

CTD flying at 31'000 Ft.

 

This has happened multiple times, both in 11.26r2 as well in all 11.30 B4 & B5 & B6

Any suggestions?

I really like the plane, but it seems buggy when I read all the CTD comments in the forum.

I'll forward the log file.

But I'll just make a mention that it's only a small percentage of people getting these CTD's.  It's usually down to another plugin causing a conflict.

I'm performing a clean install of x-plane without plugins and a clean install of TBM 900 to see if I can reproduce the issue.

I just reproduced the error in a clean install of 11.26r2 without any plugins (apart from TBM 900).

It occurred after landing and during taxi to parking position.

So it does not seem to be caused by a foreign plugin.

Just a shot in the dark.  Can you disable all AI aircraft and see if it happens again?

Good shot.

I disabled AI Aircraft and was able to conduct a complete flight. Now retrying to see if this is stable. 

Afterwards I will enable AI again and see if problem reoccurs.

 

Alas, crashed on second try. See attached log.

No,  this was with  AI disabled. 

I wanted to make sure i could reproduce a complete successfull flight, but alas the second flight without plugins/AI etc. did crash again.

 

Deleted latest Navigraph data from Custom Data, to ensure that default X-Plane data was being used (as there was a reference in another CTD thread about custom data).

Tried a few more times today, with CTD every time.

Situation seems to have improved / resolved since upgrade from OS/X „Sierra“ to „Mojave“.

i was able to complete longer flights both in 11.26r2 as well as in 11.30rc1 without CTD

Obviously I will continue to perform longer flights now and see if this is persistant and the problem has gone away...

Completed 5 Hr+ Flight with 11.30RC1 and TBM 900 Version 1.1.3 without any problems.
No more crashes observed!

Great job and great simulation. I keep discovering more amazing detail every time I look at this plane
