Airplane goes full blast on TOD

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I flew the IXEG this morning, and had some issues, I don't know if it's due to VNAV, or other cause.

I was flying this Flight plan BRU604 RJSR-RJCW (10-Feb-2018) #1.txt

First Issue was when inserting routes/airways from the route page everything seemed fine, BUT when reviewing the flightplan I had the waypoint CHE doubled and there was something wrong with the distances:

I managed to overcome this issue by entering the points one by one.

but then comes the fun part :

The flight did go OK, i was on vatsim, and everything was OK until I reached the TOD

When entering the star, the FMC told me I was at 10Nm from TOD, I didn't have the message to reset MCP altitude, I suppose I was too close for it to appear.

I didn't have time to reset the Altitude, while I was checking on charts, I reached TOD, at that point, instead of Keeping the same speed, the AT kicked in full throttle,

I dialed a lower altitude but had to disable AT to regain some control and manually Idle the throttle

At that point here is the result :

I hope that helps finding issues.

Here is the Log.txt file from this flight

I finished my flight manually, and it went well from this point

Hi Tchou,

46.022 kts, eh? That must be some derelict testing mode that Tom was using, he gets tired of waiting for the plane to arrive...

I will try to recreate your scenario and bug, thanks for the report!

Cheers, Jan

I though you were developping a Falcon Heavy Rocket in disguize of a 733...  or maybe next step, the BFR...
