Alarm bell when releasing the parking brake

7 posts in this topic

No matter in what state I load up the air craft in. The first time I release the parking brake there is an alarm bell stars ringing for about 10 seconds? Am I doing something wrong?

Hmm, never heard of that. The only alarm bell in the aircraft is the fire-bell... and that should have nothing to do with the parking brake. There is the remote possibility that you have assigned the same key (V) to the parking brake and possibly also the fire-test button...I have seen strange things happen like that (people assigned B to brakes and beacon, for example)...

If checking your assignments doesnt help, maybe post a short video of it happening?

Cheers, Jan

One crazy idea from my side. Do you use Autogate plugin?

If you release parking brake standing at gate the gate starts disconnecting with a bell sound))

Beat me to it!

I'll bet it's the autogate bell you can hear @AndersenBali

I do use autogate. When I load up the air craft at a stand with no gate.. There is no bell...
