Wingflex

When IXEG decides to employ a wing flex model, I'd highly recommend they buy a FlyJSim 732 and take note on how they did theirs.  From what I understand, Jack used the X-Plane wing flex capabilities to create it.  It came out really nice.

I respect IXEG's decision to leave it off for now - no need for them to fudge it and end up with a silly flappy bird flopping around the skies.

maybe they can add a slider like in the FF767, so that Wing flew enthusiastic can set it to max even if it's not realistic [emoji4]

I really dislike the 767 wingflex precisely because of this. Set it high enough and watch how the wing droops on the ground. FJS still has the best wingflex by far even 4 years after the release of the 727.

It is not on the top of the to-do list at the moment.  As we see it there are more important thing to do first. Doing it right is also quite tricky, most of the attempts you see around are a simplification of physics and 3D bending moments.  Also, what you believe is a "must" is not necessary a "must" to others.

To make this aircraft perfect, there must be WINGFLEX. And dont tell me that aircraft is small. and it is not so importent.

To feel the plane , the wind it is very nice. You can leave everything like it is, but wingflex must be.

And it will be the masterpiece of IXEG.

yeah and I want my desk, chair and office walls to vibrate with it and all that good stuff too

Why dont you wingflex guys go do some more manual raw data departures and approaches. I bet you wont miss the lack of wingflex ;)

Well said, I'm more interested in flying this beauty on those wonderful approaches. I'm not one for automatic approach and landing (weather permitting) :D

This aircraft flys so well, stuff the wingflex it's not important at this point.

It seems to me , that you all guys have interest in defending you friends developers. We can eat without spoons and knifes too, but I dont think you do this, like we can fly without wingflex.

But nowdays it is important to have wingflex. If you dont want it go to Xplane 5 and fly on windows 95.

I wonder , why you write something here and make developers never even think about wingflex.

Shame on you !

do you know the difference between a nice-to... and a Must-have?

shame on you not having understood what you have in your hands, nobody defends a developer, on my side at least I give my advice to let devs know not everybody is keen on fps killing animations. The interest we have is to keep this add-on free of useless rubbish that would impact its performance. This add-on, unlike others, that cannot cope with systems qualities, does not need any nice to have eye candy animations to be what it claims to be: the best simulated 737 out there!!! it is a master piece as such and no distraction is needed. as many stated, if you would try to master what is in this X-Plane jewel, you wouldn't even have the time to go outside of the cabin to watch "flex", on my side I would not even miss any objects outside of the cockpit... too much to do in the cockpit, but that is just assuming you actually fly this thing and are not touching yourself watching the plane land by itself in Autoland mode.

and if you still miss those, I would recommend you take on some other sim/ad-on combination to satisfy your very personal need for aviation-pornography! Have a look at JAR, they do some very nice ones, or the classic FSX/Aerosoft-cartoon-plane-on-the-rails-simulators. But please guys, stop the rubbish about wingflex. There are more important things to fix.

Wow five posts and -15 reputation. You really should take the hint. Now I am off to fly the IXEG, from the pilots seat, where I cannot see nor even care if the wings are flexing because its much more fun flying the thing.
