Equadex Posted October 16, 2016 Report Share Posted October 16, 2016 Hi! I'm wondering why the standby altimeter and airspeed indicator are not feed with information by a third source? If you have a failure with the captain airspeed indicator or altimeter the standby fails as well. When you crosscheck your instrument to figure out which instrument is faulty it looks like the captains instrument is correct. It's the same as the standby airspeed and altimeter .
