Scotrun BK
By Nicola_M
BK117 livery SCOTRUN BK117 - EXCLUSIVE TO X-PILOT.COM
Repaint for Nils Danielsson's excellent payware MBB BK-117.
Simply unzip the file "SCOTRUN BK" into your xplane/aircraft/helicopters/bk117/liveries folder.
***Use with Radome model.***
On route 611 in Scotrun, Pennsylvania, there is a roadside takeaway called Eats & Sweets. In the grounds there is a derelict BK117 which has been used as part of a children's swing. Sadly, there is nothing to identify the helicopter but this livery shows how it would have looked from new.
Of note is a small decal on its flank "Space Ship BK117." In the mid-80s MBB advertised the BK117 as the "Space Ship," ie the ship with plenty of interior space. Eurocopter inform me that such a decal was not an official item and was likely made by the US dealership in Westchester when the helicopter was sold.

S-01 98+22 AVT
By Nicola_M
BK117 livery S-01 98+22 AVT - EXCLUSIVE TO X-PILOT.COM
Repaint for Nils Danielsson's excellent payware MBB BK-117.
Simply unzip the file "S-01 98+22 AVT" into your xplane/aircraft/helicopters/bk117/liveries folder.
This is the livery of S-01, the pre-production prototype of the BK117, and the final one of the three prototypes made, the first being a static testing model, the second being P-2, and the third being this one.
On 6th March 1981, S-01 had its first Flight of 50 minutes in Ottobrunn / Munich. MBB Chief test pilot Siegfried Hoffmann and flight test engineer Walter Sinn undertook the first trials in hover flight and made six further flights the same day.
From the 18th-21st February 1982 S-01 was presented to potential customers at the the Helicopter Association International. Hoffmann demonstrated it to 48 pilots and over 200 passengers.
In 1995 S-01 was loaned to the German military for evaluation under the registration 98+22, as shown here, where it was used as the testbed aircraft to test a Forward Looking Infra Red (FLIR) system for the Eurocopter Tiger.
Since 2009 S-01 has been painted in the colours of DRF and now resides on the roof of the DRF headquarters near Stuttgart airport.

Red Jive
By Nicola_M
This is just a basic copy of the G-Jive livery for Brett's Hughes 500D in red, but done with a bit more detail, as the original was a screen photo.
This one has been redone from scratch in photoshop. Hopefully a bit more detail.
Just place the folder "Red Jive" into xplane/aircraft/helicopters/Hughes 500D/liveries.

Prototype P-2 D-HBKA
By Nicola_M
BK117 Prototype "P-2"
This is the livery of the BK117 prototype, P-2, which has now been updated with the removal of the landing gear step. P-2 was the only BK117 to not have this step.
This can be used in either the radome or non-radome model.
The original P-2 is now in the Helicopter Museum in Buckeburg, Germany.

Possibly P-1 Prototype
By Nicola_M
BK117 livery Possibly P-1 - EXCLUSIVE TO X-PILOT.COM
Repaint for Nils Danielsson's excellent payware MBB BK-117.
Simply unzip the file "Possibly P-1" into your xplane/aircraft/helicopters/bk117/liveries folder.
This is the livery of what I believe is the fabled P-1 prototype. The reason behind this belief is the chin windows are different to the P-2 and S-01 prototypes and the production series.
This helicopter is today located in the Auto & Technik Museum at Sinsheim, Germany, and is shown in an early DRF livery.

Helitreck 225
By Nicola_M
This is the latest in my series of BK117 liveries.
Helitreck 225.
I can't say with certainty very much about this aircraft, VH-FHB (c/n 1056, built 1990) and its twin, VH-FHF (c/n 1093, built 1991). Both are identically painted, with FHB numbered 225 on the tail, and FHF numbered 226. I've seen these two aircraft described as owned by Altitude Aviation, NSW Fire & Police, and also by Helitreck Aviation, so I'm guessing here. As they are both Kawasaki-built in Japan, I have no details of their history or heritage.
However, there is a nice video of these two BK117s on Helitreck's website , but I don't know if they are still trading.
http://www.heliservi...ircraft/bk-117/
This livery is designed for the radome version. The png file leaves the wire cutters displayed, but hides the radome and bear paws. Just extract it to your xplane/aircraft/helicopters/bk117/liveries folder.
This is the first to have the correct door handle signs, fuel cap logos and a new interior.
